Systems/Operational Support Manager

Position Summary

  • Responsible for all technical needs for a line of business or subsidiary.

  • Develops, programs and maintains area operating systems.

  • Responsible for technical equipment installation and maintenance, both hardware and software.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or other job-related field, OR

  • Four years of information technology experience. (Equivalency not applicable for the Celerian Group. Bachelor's degree required.)

Required Work Experience

  • Five years of software development and/or programming applications experience.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong math and analytical skills.

  • Excellent project management, interpretation, communications and technical skills.

  • Able to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

  • Strong technical knowledge base in related area.

  • Strong interpersonal and oral/written communications skills.

  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to multitask.

  • Excellent and effective communications, customer-service and time-management skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex information with understanding to a variety of audiences who have different levels of experience and knowledge.

  • Proficient with programming languages required for utilization and customization of the business area’s software.

  • Expertise with Microsoft Office.
