The Network Operations Manager position is responsible for advising the IT Director in technical and operational function, deployment and maintenance of network systems within the campus as well as any satellite offices that may be a part of the organization. This is a senior position which is required to fill the role of an SME (subject matter expert) within the Network Operations organization by providing guidance and expert analysis to peers within the IT organization. You will oversee, and at times, install and troubleshoot network applications and equipment including but not limited to OS's, proprietary applications, firewalls, switches, routers, wireless and all other related networking equipment and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network problems related to OS, installed applications, user port issues, uplink ports, and other issues as needed.


  • Ownership of the Configuration Management practice in network applications and equipment; including but not limited to OS’s, proprietary applications, firewalls, switches, and routers.

  • Ensures completion of routine requests for changes/modifications/additions to Cisco devices; firewalls, switches, routers, ASAs

  • Performs daily monitoring all networked system across enterprise to include 1800+ store locations

  • Proven ability to develop methodologies and processes based upon industry standards as defined by ITIL, ISACA, and PCI.

  • Proven ability to systemize network infrastructure maintenance processes to mitigate unplanned downtime.

  • Ensures quick resolution to technical issues related to the network infrastructure

  • Assist in the technical analysis and design for current and future projects which would benefit the company

  • Support the of operations staff in executing, testing and implementation of project-specific solutions

  • Assist in the engineering and provisioning of resources required for operations, support and maintenance

  • Works with IT Security team to ensure we maintain a safe and secure computing environment
