JOB SUMMARY

The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking ahighly motivated Employee Relations Managerto beresponsible fordelivering high quality Human Resources Services. Leveraging experience, rationale and data, you will oversee the operations, benefits, records management, Arizona State Retirement Systems (ASRS) Administration, Classification and Compensation, Human Resources related policies and procedures, Arizona State Personnel System Rules with a strong emphasis on employee relations.

The Employee Relations Manager will be a trusted business partner with high energy and passion for data, analytics and process improvement, and thrive in a fast paced business environment. You will be detailed oriented, independently motivated, and have the confidence and presence to interact and communicate with a range of executives and employees across the Department of Revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Public or Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years human resources related experience ingovernmental agency,Employee Relations, Operations, FMLA, FLSA, State and Federal Employment Laws. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Prefer minimum of two (2) years directly supervising professional human resources staff and a Professional Human Resources certification in one or more of the following areas is preferred: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or IPMA-CP. Experience with LEAN management process improvement methodologies is preferred.
