SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Senior Manager, Training & Development - Operations oversees the assignment of all Training and Development activities- people, projects, equipment, and materials. This manager will work with leaders and stakeholders from Operations to define solutions appropriate to solve business problems and meet specific training needs, schedules and timelines. This position is responsible for the design, delivery and rollout of training that meet stakeholder needs and expectations. The Senior Manager, Training and Development - Operationswill lead team of Instructional Designers and Trainers to deliver training solutions to the Operation. This position will work closely with Senior Leadership from our Operations team to ensure the team is developing and applying sound business logic to training solutions. The individual who takes on this role will be a leader in achieving the team's mission. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Lead Training and Development team in designing, delivering, and measuring results of training initiatives. * Manage Training and Development resources effectively, and with accountability for meeting business trainingneeds. Effectively prioritize, manage, and utilize department resources effectively, including fulfillingurgent requests. * Create project plans for all active, inactive and scheduled work/projects for the department. Schedule anddocument project timelines, assigned resources and targeted completion dates.
