Junior Space Operations Program Analyst
Exciting new opportunity to be part of the Space Team supporting the new Deputy Chief of Staff for Space Operations. This is a new Air Force organization with the exciting task to define the future of Air Force Space Operations for the nation. You will report to the Task Order Lead or Program Manager providing Advisory and Assistance Support within Headquarters Air Force, office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Space Operations. Specifically, support will be provided within one or more of the areas listed below. Applicant resumes should identify specific areas of expertise or experience in these functions.
Operations and organizing, training and equipping of missions to include Missile Warning/Missile Defense (MW/MD), MILSATCOM, Space Situational Awareness/Command and Control (SSA/C2), Precision Navigation and Timing (PNT), Launch/Range, Space Protection, Space Control, Space Based Environmental Monitoring, and/or other space related operational missions

Deployment management experience with AEF and FAM experience
Requirements Development and Planning including Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) or JCIDS process
Program Element Monitor (PEM) support including POM and PPBE experience (Financial Management, Budgeting, ABIDES)
Strategy, Policy, Doctrine, War gaming and/or Lessons Learned, Congressional correspondence
Senior executive staff support (former executive officers, Commander’s Action Group, or Director of Staff experience)
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the development, planning, and implementation of policy to support air, space, and cyberspace operations, training, and testing activities.
Contribute to policy, planning, programming, resource allocation, and program evaluation to ensure readiness of space forces in peace, crisis, and war.
Support the establishment / oversight of operational & readiness policy on the organization, training, and equipping of Air Force Space forces
Support the formulation of AF policy, interagency agreements, and coordinating provision of AF centric support for OSD directed programs.
Contribute to the development AF guidance regarding utilization of Air Reserve Component members under Title 10
Provide expertise as the HAF office of primary responsibility (OPR) for operational National Security Council (NSC) issues
Drafts and coordinates Director's official correspondence, presentations, speeches, briefings, meeting prep, and public appearances.
Drafts and coordinate senior-level briefings and documents to inform Congress, DoD, IC, civil and international partners, and other U.S. Government agencies.
Prepares read-ahead books, meeting material, and logistical details to support Directorate Staff-hosted meetings and summits.
Assists the Directorate in creating staff packages that are complete and formatted consistently with applicable instructions (HOI 33-3, Tongue & Quill, and Standard Operating Procedures)

Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Experience leading teams
3-5 years experience in or directly supporting space activities.
Familiarity with TMT and/or or other HQ staffing tools
Former NCO or officer with space operations background
Weapons Instructor Course (WIC) graduate
Speech writing experience
Recent work experience with DoD, AF, and/or Joint Staff staffing processes
Active TS/SCI clearance is required
