Quality Control Supervisor for ordnance operations.

Position is contingent upon contract award.

Position is located in Oahu, Hawaii.

The Quality Control Supervisor implements a quality control program for ordnance operations at Pearl Harbor and Lualualei.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise subordinate Quality Control personnel.

  • Implement the quality control program for the ordnance handling and storage project to ensure accuracy across all aspects of ammunition receipt, storage and issue.

  • Assist in the development of work procedures in order to proactively drive quality performance.

  • Participate in development of corrective actions when necessary and ensure implementation.

SPECIAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS / PREREQUISITES:

Must be able to complete required Naval Ordnance qualification / certification training.

Training is achieved through a combination of on-line and classroom training.

Qualifications:

FORMAL EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent military experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At least three (3) years’ experience as a Quality Control Supervisor in ordnance operations or similar type of work.

In lieu of above experience, candidates with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Quality Control Supervisor in ordnance operations or similar type work may be considered if they can demonstrate at least three (3) additional years’ experience in the following area(s):

quality control, explosive handling, safety work.

Clearance:

Must have or be capable of obtaining a Secret security clearance.
