Quality Assurance Supervisor for ordnance operations.

Position is contingent upon contract award.

Position is located in Oahu, Hawaii.

The Quality Assurance Supervisor for ordnance handling develops and implements a fully compliant naval ordnance quality management plan for operations at Pearl Harbor and Lualualei.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive and fully compliant Quality Control Plan for ordnance handling and storage operations.

  • Coordinate with Government Quality Assurance personnel to proactively understand and meet customer quality expectations.

  • Assist in the development of work procedures in order to proactively drive quality performance.

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of corrective action plans when required.

SPECIAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS / PREREQUISITES:

Must be able to complete required Naval Ordnance qualification / certification training.

Training is achieved through a combination of on-line and classroom training.

Qualifications:

FORMAL EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent military experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At least three (3) years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor in the handling, storage, and management of ordnance or similar type work.

In lieu of above experience, candidates may have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and at least two (2) additional years’ experience in any one or a combination of the following areas:

  • Performing Receipt, Segregation, Storage, and Issue (RSS&I) functions

  • Demonstrated knowledge of NAVSUP P-805, Receipt, Storage, and Issue Sentencing familiarity with similar DoD programs

Clearance:

Must have or be capable of obtaining a Secret security clearance.
