Metron, Inc. Operations Research Analyst in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Metron’s OASiS Division is seeking a talented and motivated Operations Research Analyst for an opportunity at Commander, Pacific Fleet, located in Honolulu, HI. Qualified applicants must be innate problem solvers who seek out technical challenges and excel in overcoming them. This position is contingent on a contract being awarded and the estimated contract award and start date is Fall 2017.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Employment of operations research and modeling and simulation (M&S) techniques to develop and assess complex naval scenarios and operational plans
Modeling of complex communications architectures in counter-C4ISR environments
Algorithm development, collaborative design, software testing, demonstration, and documentation
Briefing senior leadership (SES/Flag level) and interfacing directly with COMPACFLT staff
Coordinating efforts of one or more analysts
Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in the physical sciences, operations research, mathematics, or related fields
5+ years of military operations analyses, to include antisubmarine warfare, air warfare, surface warfare, and/or electronic/cyber warfare
Prior military experience or proven track record in military operations analyses
Experience with the Naval Simulation System (NSS) or other complex M&S tools
Ability to communicate technical details effectively, both verbally and in writing, to end users, team members, managers, and clients
US Citizenship and Current DoD security clearance with eventual requirement for SSBI and SCI eligibility
