Fresenius Medical Center Solution Clean Room Production Operator in Ogden, Utah
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Perform various operations within the Solutions Department such as: bag porting, bag printing, loading overwrap machines, inspecting non-filled and filled/finished bags for acceptable quality criteria and performing general cleaning duties.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Port and inspect empty bags in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and applicable BPR.
Assist in the daily cleaning of the fill lines.
Print and inspect empty bags in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and applicable BPR.
Load overwrap machine and provide a continuous product flow.
Assist Senior Operator as needed, including line clears, line operation and efficiency as well as maintaining acceptable quality criteria.
Inspect filled/finished bags for acceptable quality criteria in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and applicable BPR.
Escalates issues to supervisor for resolution, as deemed necessary.
Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to be on their feet throughout a 12 hour shift, wear protective equipment which may include bunny suit. The employee frequently is required to stand; sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Donning/ Doffing is required.
- High School Diploma required
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
0 – 1 year’s related experience.
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations.
