Teva Pharmaceuticals Director, IT Commercial Operations in North Wales, Pennsylvania
Direct the IT Strategy and delivery of IT Services in support of the Commercial Operations for the US and Canadian Generic businesses. Business areas owned include: Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, Pricing, and Product Launches. To be successful in this role the incumbent will need to think strategically, harness innovation, foster creativity, and deliver solutions.
- Establish Program Vision, Approach, and Portfolio: Work with the business to identify areas of opportunity and need, and then develop them into initiatives that deliver measureable value. Apply industry best practice thinking, lean sigma, and other innovation and continuous improvement techniques to make a step change improvement to our business. Additionally, design the operating model for the team, including internal and external partnerships, benefit delivery planning, business case development, project and portfolio management, business partnership, agile project management, solution delivery, and benefit realization and optimization.
2.Bullet-Proof Processing: Establish vision and strategy to provide world-class IT Services to Commercial Operations. Ensure bullet proof operations for all systems implemented, including Pricing, CRM, and departmental databases/platforms. Where appropriate, define the Service Strategy and operating model, including service definitions, delivery model, key performance indicators, staffing plan, partnership model, and internal and external communications.
3.People Leadership and development: Motivate and lead a high-performance team; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the team; provide mentoring and employee development; oversee development of succession plans at all levels of organizational responsibilities. This role is expected to lead leaders so direct reports will include Managers and Sr. Managers.
4.Business Relationship Management: Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders to ensure effective expectation management and alignment of team priorities with the business. Intense focus on value creation and benefits realization. The incumbent will be the face of IT for the business in these important areas.
5.CRM, Pricing and Product Launch: Define the CRM strategy for the US and Canada Generic businesses, including the expanded use of the SalesForce.com platforms. Develop IT strategies and roadmaps for the Generic marketing, pricing, customer service, and new product areas. Develop and manage the associated project portfolios to deliver the strategies, and ensure alignment with the business and other key stakeholders.
IT Improvement and Innovation: As a senior leader, the incumbent is expected to contribute independent ideas, proposals, and projects for improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and value of IT at Teva. Further, the incumbent will develop those ideas into programs and deliver them. Expectations include working within the NA Commercial IT Team and across Global IT, driving innovation and process improvement, challenging the status quo, and creating cross-functional teams to improve our operations and value.
Accurate and timely planning, reporting, and controls: Ensure accurate and timely planning, reporting, and controls across project, program, staffing, budget, and business-facing areas, including:
· Annual budgeting (AOP) process for designated systems and business areas
· Program and Project status, budget risks, and forecast
· Monthly AOP checkpoints, forecasts, and adjustments
· Employee development and team leadership

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline required
10+ years progressive IT project management experience, with track record of delivering high risk projects while meeting delivery, quality, and compliance standards
8+ years experience managing, developing and leading a team of people in different locations
Significant experience and success in driving innovation, process improvement, and IT delivery for a large enterprise in the areas of marketing, sales, CRM, product launch, and Marketing
Proven skills and experience managing and controlling large IT project and program budgets, and leading global project teams
Proven track record of defining business strategies and influencing key business stakeholders
Strong knowledge and experience with suppliers and supplier solutions.
Experience shaping innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organization
Experience working in a global organization where stakeholders and project team members are geographically dispersed
Strong market knowledge and experience working with a commercial organization.
Solid understanding of Cloud Based platforms, Sales Force processes, complex workflows and collaborative tools.
The ideal candidate will have experience in at least three of these areas: Pharmaceutical industry, Generic Medicines, CRM, product launches, generic drug pricing, complex marketing workflows.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:

Pharmaceutical/healthcare experience highly preferred
