Operation Manager - TurbochargingOperation Manager - Turbocharging is responsible for the operational performance of the Sales and Service activities for the New Jersey service stations to exceed the customer's delivery expectations, to ensure that the company is represented professionally, ethically, with high code of conduct, to achieve the financial, commercial, OHS and environmental targets of the company.2017-12-31Middle Management / Senior Management Tasks: SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: The following responsibilities indicate some of the key elements of this role, but should not be considered as a complete definition, as there will be tasks that are requested, that are deemed to be reasonably expected as part of this role:- Lead and develop the commercial and the technical part of service operation Implement the LBU procedures for service operation in the service station Implement OHS and Quality requirements / processes and ensure the compliance with them at service station Ensure availability of infrastructure, equipment & tools according to BU standard Ensure the maintenance of infrastructure, equipment & tools Define or propose corrective action based on self-assessment Plan and develop the commercial and technical resources for service operation Ensure availability of skills in the different functions - training plan for service operation Implement procedures to capture and implement updates on commercial and technical documentation Implement LBU strategy for stock keeping and ensure the proper handling, storing and stock keeping Execution of agreements such as maintenance agreements, OPAC, Life Cycle Care..etc Ensure efficient cooperation with EUS (end user sales) Ensure retention of key performers P/L responsibility with ability to analyze data and report monthly on financial and operational performance, identifying key elements to enhance and improve the business or cause of business risks. Analysis of financial reports to ensure that orders, invoices and receivables are completed/collected in a timely manner and that backlog is a true reflection of the current position. Prepare annual budgets, including capital investments and periodical predictable sales forecasts. Enforce all ABB, Federal, State and local rules and regulations. Ensure that all Performance Driver requirements are completed in accordance with visits, time and accuracy requirements. Ensure that all members are following the directives, OHS, ISO, SOX and compliance regulations to meet all audit requirements. Management team member, responsible for implementing, executing and developing initiatives to ensure that the business meets all financial, quality, legal and ethical requirements to continue the high image of the company with our customers, management and share-holders. Overall management responsibility of turbocharger personnel, including staffing needs, ie interviewing, hiring, training, retaining, succession planning, coaching, developing, to encourage team building in conjunction with the local human resources department. Ensure required response targets are achieved for the processing of quotations, orders, invoice, projects, reports, job estimates and inventory turns. Visit/contact customers to build relationships and develop the market share and drive RCS positions to develop the territory. Maintain the upkeep of the facility, arranging necessary repairs and cleanliness. Provide advice, consultancy and guidance to customers, service and spare parts groups on technical issues related to turbochargers and their components, including where appropriate, the interaction with the engines and/or applications. Detailed knowledge of turbocharger and engine principles, product range and repair techniques with ability to troubleshoot, producing detailed investigation reports and operational inspections to assist customer improve the efficiency and operation
