Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Strategic Services & Innovation Customer Success Group, the Services Operations Specialist will be supporting the organizations included in Cloud Services (SuccessFactors, Hybris, Advisory Services, Innovation Practice). This person will cover day to day cloud services operations of the services delivery team, forecasting, budgeting, staffing modeling, and any other activities needs to run our business.
This leader should have good understanding of global cloud services consulting markets and understand the key drivers in global markets. The candidate should have a breadth and depth of experience with global professional services delivery, P&L management and strong process design expertise, reporting/analytics capabilities. The ideal individual will be both visionary and pragmatic, and be able to work effectively in a matrixed environment. He or she will define and drive the Services strategy internally, ensure execution, and build and manage a high performing team to success.
Drive development of best in class business/sales process and methodologies, and ensure tools and processes are effectively rolled out to field sales teams globally
Become the “go-to” person for Cloud Services business processes, programs, and overall services operations for Advisory and Hybris business
Provide thought leadership, unbiased rigor and analytic power to drive business planning and reporting by using SAP’s internal tools but leverage experience and bring innovative ideas to develop best solution.
Support management in identifying field needs and assist in the deployment of process enabling tools, in order to drive operational execution.
Own and drive weekly forecast calls to drive inspection of all KPI that drive business profitability
Establish, update and contribute STANDARD OPERATING PROEDURES for different areas to drive operational excellence across all cloud LOB
Assist in creating and rolling out new programs, initiatives, and strategies to the field delivery teams to help drive key KPI’s such as: revenue, margin, utilization, etc
Conduct intensive data analysis work, such as utilization trending, revenue backlog and pipeline, cost, partner revenue.
Be responsible for detailed budget planning and collaborating with other functions to develop the right budget for the business
Be responsible for detailed forecasting globally and at a regional level
Identify cost controlling measures and drive the implementation of systems to support them and metrics to measure progress.
Ensure a coordinated capacity planning based on corresponding data
Ensure proper account transparency and Cloud Services project tracking
Prepare all necessary input for SAP board reviews / Services business reviews / Transformation reviews
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management in a clear, easy-to-understand, and precise fashion
Continuously improve operational processes and tasks
Act as key interface to Services controlling, Services Delivery operations and Services Sales operations on Cloud Services
Support the global Cloud Services head as well as its regional management team in all other daily operations tasks
Work with Revenue recognition team to drive subscription offering vs services offerings strategy

Experience & Language Requirements
4-7 years experience in a similar role
Strong experience in the area of business analyst / controlling / operations in software or IT industries
SAP tools experience preferred (but not mandatory)
Cloud company experience (Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, VMWARE, MSFT)
Experience in (virtually) managing and working with intercultural groups, people and/or organizations
Strong analytical skills, and outstanding ability in analyzing data
Strong business consulting and project management expertise
Excellent communication skills
Cloud and subscription business understanding
Be creative and innovative
Ability to deliver clear and easy to understand messaging and analysis both in written form and via face-to-face presentations
High ambition, drive for, and focus on results and execution
Proven record of exceptional performance
Strong intercultural skills
Proven track record of orchestrating different teams and organization (physically and/or virtually) in order to achieve a set of ambitious goals
• A technical degree and MS or MBA
