Our Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the marketing team is efficiently executing to their targets, choosing the best possible tactics to accomplish our sales and marketing goals, and helping create an environment of predictability.
Our Marketing Operations Manager gets to:
Do whatever is required to insure the marketing group is functioning as a well-oiled machine.
Develop a monthly metrics-driven market dashboard that pulls information from across the organization to report ROI-driven marketing results across activity and to show what’s working and what’s not.
Experience with Salesforce and marketing automation systems: Salesforce CRM, and Marketo preferred
Understand, create list building and maintenance, segmentation, targeting, lists pulls, organization, regular cleansing, and optimization.
Drive process improvements across the marketing functions and across sales/marketing cross-functional teams, insuring nothing hinders campaign success or lead follow-up.
Investigate, share, and help to implement new trends in marketing, automation and strategic best practices.
Manage strategic vendor relationships and insure predictable spend across vendors and departments.
Work with finance to facilitate effective forecasting and budgeting.
Manage team training opportunities and team meetings to keep initiatives moving forward.
Develop business processes to increase efficiency both internally and with respect to vendor use, some believe this is boring but you adore it.
Find and implement appropriate tools to help scale the marketing organization effectively.
Creative Traffic Management Responsibilities:
Creative traffic management is also a part the marketing operations role. This includes coordinating deadlines and assets between the creative team, the marketing team overall, and internal clients. The role facilitates discussion among the creative team by leading internal production management calls as well as participating in general brainstorming sessions.
The marketing ops manager will use Asana or other production tracking systems to develop production schedules and organize creative production/assets.
Control the flow of outgoing design concepts and incoming revisions on projects.
Keep project logs that track the evolution of a creative project from initial design phase to completion including understanding time spent and costs for outside resources and assets.
Attend creative team meetings and provide regular production updates to the creative team and internal clients.
Assist designers in purchasing stock art and other pay-for-use content.
Coordinate with creative team in gathering the necessary image assets and content necessary to complete projects.
To join our team you will have:
4-5+ years of marketing operations experience in a software technology corporation.
Proven Experience to “Get things done”.
Have a balanced checkbook…we will want you to make sure our budget is in line.
Know how to get people to adapt to new processes and feel affection for the power of measurement.
Project management wiz that can handle any project thrown your way.
Exquisite attention to detail, superior organizational skills and the ability to multi-task with the best of them.
Proven experience in developing trusted relationships with sales ops and IT and the ability to present persuasively to various stakeholders
Experience working with multiple territories, multiple priorities, and multiple projects at once
Experience in setting up all campaign assets within the marketing automation platform including emails, landing pages, and auto-responders.
