Serta Simmons Manager, Operations (New York) in New York City, New York

Reports to: Sr. Director, Operations & Customer Experience

SUMMARY Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations and Customer Experience, the Operations Manager is tasked with handling all the day-to-day needs of a fast paced, rapidly growing e-Commerce business. We're looking for someone who is both very detail-oriented and able to communicate complex ideas with ease. Must be a motivated self-starter eager to grow and adapt with the role.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Direct the daily fulfillment of outgoing orders across our network of engaged warehouses. Investigate any orders on a daily basis that fall outside normal SOPs to avoid any delays. Ensure on-time execution of exchange and return processing. Along with Senior Director of Operations, determine demand expectations for each product at SKU level. Communicate demand plan across organization and order all necessary product at the appropriate time. Maintain suitable inventory level across all warehouses to reduce stock outs, backorders, and expiration of merchandise on hand. Ensure on-time delivery of goods to warehouses from both internal manufacturing facilities and external partners. Continually find ways to improve business processes and reduce costs however possible.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Organized, process driven, and able to coordinate multiple projects at once. Solid analytical, proactive problem solving, planning and organizational skills. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Google Shared Docs. Experienced working within WMS systems. Familiar with ticketing systems such as Zendesk. Extremely strong technology skills, with the ability to adapt to new software.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ WORK ENVIRONMENT 5+ Years applicable business experience. 2+ Years specifically in e-Commerce Operations environment. Bachelor's Degree required, advanced degree is a plus.
