Position Description CHILDREN S ADVOCACY CENTER OF COMAL COUNTY, INC. POSITION: OPERATIONS MANAGER FUNCTION: Under the supervision of the Executive Director, and in coordination with the Board, Donors, Volunteers and the community, The Director of Operations is responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that will allow CAC to continue to grow and fulfill its mission. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative Ensures personnel policies and procedures are appropriate for the effective and efficient functioning within the working environment and the protection of staff. Perform internal bookkeeping. Collect and file all receipts, invoices and paperwork associated with internal fiscal controls and documentation. Reviews and monitors all payroll entries and coordinates with payroll and timesheet programs for timely distribution of pay for staff. Assist in audit preparation. Operations Oversees agency facilities and equipment and ensures all are maintained in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety. Orders supplies and purchases equipment. Office management: oversee administrative functions for the CAC office, ensuring smooth daily operations of physical plant and equipment. Develop and maintain equipment inventory and tracking. Assist the Director of Outreach in picking up in kind donations and distributing items throughout the CACCC. Facility Procurement and vendor management. Building and grounds maintenance. Manage volunteers for facility projects. Cleaning, Janitorial Services. Health and safety. Security. Utilities and communications infrastructure. Space management. IT Liaison between staff and IT service providers. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university. Demonstrated experience in operations management and planning with previous experience overseeing human resources, day to day operations, agency policies and procedures, contracts, risk management, and legal. Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, and outlook. Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team. Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of CAC; Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment in people and systems. Must pass background check, criminal history check and CPS registry check. Must have a telephone, reliable transportation and possess a current Texas Driver s license or State ID.
