Camber Corporation USAFWC LVC Cyberspace Operations Flight Initiative SME 15287 in Nellis AFB, Nevada


REQUIREMENT: Assigned to the USAFWC, Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV. Provide cyberspace operations expertise for the establishment of the Cyber Operations Flight concept. Specifically, provide cyber techniques, tactics, procedures and training objectives, scenario, coordination integration, and other applicable activities required within USAFWC, 24 AF/AFCYBER and with higher commands and supported combatant commands. Also includes supporting validation, verification, standardization, and certification activities of cyber forces and capabilities at all levels of warfare (Strategic, Operational, and Tactical). Provide cyber subject matter expertise into exercise planning and execution support for the USAFWC throughout the Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) for each supported exercise with regards to newly developed Cyber Ops Flight constructs. Travel and participate throughout the JELC in exercise planning conferences in order to support all these planning activities. During execution, be available to observe cyber integration within the cyber domain with all other cyber equities, and observe cyber integration into all necessary kinetic and non-kinetic warfighting domains. Provide exercise planning, coordination, cyber weapons system integration and execution support for both internal USAFWC exercises and supported external and combatant command exercises. These include but are not limited to, RED FLAG, BLUE FLAG, BLACK DEMON, VIRTUAL FLAG, CYBER GUARD, CYBER FLAG, GLOBAL LIGHTNING, GLOBAL THUNDER, PACIFIC SENTRY, AUSTERE CHALLENGE, TURBO CHALLENGE, VIGILANT SHIELD, PANAMAX, and others. Finally, advise on the transition of exercised/proven Cyber Ops Flight capabilities and concepts to the operational community. This may include helping establish and train new Cyber Ops Flight personnel at other locations. The Cyber Ops Flight SME shall be required travel significantly for planning and execution and to monitor and report on the progress of the simulation(s) to ensure the simulated training exercises/events provide a realistic presentation for the intended audience, and to develop the flight initiative program for the USAFWC.

Required Experience/Security Clearance :

  1. Possess one of the following degrees or experience requirements: Associate of Science Degree in M&S, Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Systems, Network or Software), Computer Science or IT with at least 4 years of technical experience; a non-technical Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of technical experience; Bachelors of Science Degree or higher in M&S, Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Systems, Network or Software), Computer Science or IT with at least 2 years of M&S technical experience; or at least 10 years of M&S technical experience.

  2. TS/SCI (SAP/SAR as needed).

  3. The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Desired Experience/Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Proven Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) of a Senior Analyst with five (5) years of demonstrated experience in cyber operations (2 years Offensive Cyber Operations, defensive, DODIN).

  2. Prior experience with Air Operations Center Operational Planning and Non-Kinetic Integration.

  3. Management Level Professional IT Certification (DoD Directive 8570.1M IAT-III, CISSP/CISM etc.)

  4. Prior experience with USAF/Joint Cyber Operations and Exercise Planning (specifically RED FLAG)

  5. Prior experience with the Cyberspace Weapon School curriculum.
