Primary Purpose:

Lead and support operational functions essential to Musco’s Field Sales Team. Includes planning, reporting, sales process optimization, sales program implementation, mentoring and leading approximately 25 team members in Sales Operations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and leadership to the Sales Operations Team

  • Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineering, Information Services and Production to define and develop systems and processes that will achieve company goals and objectives

  • Hold Team accountable for consistent, accurate and up-to date documentation in Musco database

  • Review monthly reports and evaluate results

  • Provide quality training, coaching and development opportunities to sales operations team members

  • Participate in planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes and report on variances to the plan

  • Continually evaluate processes along with staffing to ensure we are meeting the expectations of the Field Sales Team, internal departments and our customers

  • Execute new sales initiatives and lead Team through the change process

  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field desired

  • 8+ years in a Sales organization, preferable in a Sales or Sales supporting function with prior people leadership responsiblility required

  • An equivalent combination of training and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills and ability will be considered

Job Specifications:

  • Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills

  • Must be able to work on multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

  • Proven track record of effectively interfacing with sales personnel and various departmental leadership to identity, support and execute on business needs

  • Ability to effectively develop, direct and execute on process improvements

  • Financial management experience including P&L and budgeting

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and measure high transaction volume of work
