Our Sales Intelligence and Analytics department is looking for a high level professional to join their agile, international team of five and help them provide support to over 100 users currently across EMEALA, primarily in Sales and Management. Team provides advanced reporting tools and analytics to monitor and manage the business.

Since the creation of the team 2,5 years ago this team has established a strong track record of delivering tools and insights driving immediate and measurable impact on the business. In order to meet new exciting challenges such as the extension of our geographical scope to APAC and US, integration of numerous new data sources, development of new tools, we are looking for a Sales Operations Analyst.

An essential factor to the widely recognized added value of our tools is Nexus, our consolidated and enriched central database hosted on MS SQL servers. We are in the process of migrating and upgrading our server infrastructure to the cloud. Furthermore we will transition our data structure and tool set to the latest BI standards (Tableau, MS Power BI).

New team member will work closely with all members of the team as well as many international stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Management, Content, strategy, Operations, etc).

This role will cover a wide range of tasks:

  • As a data expert, you will ensure the accuracy of data feeds, integrate and manage new ones and create new data dimensions to grow our business analysis abilities.

  • As an analyst, you will work with many of our stakeholders to improve existing tools, create new ones and make sure they are up to date, accurate and bringing the maximum added value to the business.

Role may be based in: Munich, Amsterdam, London, Madrid or Paris.

On this role, you will be responsible for following:

Maintaining and extending central databases

  • Working with the other members of the team to design, program and maintain central, reliable data feeds from various systems (Delta, PPM, Sales Logix, GPE, Navision...) and leads the integration of new sources

  • Working closely within international organization (Finance, Operations, Sales, Content, IT...) to ensure our data is aligned, reliable, up to date and useful, thus providing a robust basis for our many reports and tools.

  • Gaining an intricate knowledge of our systems and processes across the supply chain to pro-actively identify and resolve potential issues

  • Collaborating with all international reporting entities to share best practices and ensure accuracy and consistency

Developing reporting toolset and supporting users

  • Owning Reports and Tools from Data integration to maintenance and user management

  • Constantly analysing existing processes to pro-actively identify potential optimization and new projects

  • Driving independently improvements, design and development projects

  • Participating to the transition to a new BI toolset (Tableau / MS Power BI)

Technical skills you should bring:

  • Strong proficiency with MS SQL (2016)

  • Strong proficiency with MS Excel. Experience in MS Access, VBA and/or Professional BI environment (Tableau, MS Power BI...) is a plus

  • Great analytical skills, ability to handle complex data models

Other requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent from an accredited college or university

  • Min 5 years of experience as Data Analyst

  • High motivation and commitment, proactiveness and willingness to make a difference

  • Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with internal stakeholders

  • Friendly, professional demeanour and ability to excel in a high-paced international environment

  • Fluent English
