Kelly Services Fork Lift Operator- Morristown TN in Morristown, Tennessee
Kelly Services has immediate openings for Forklift Operators with a major printing company in Morristown.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to; delivery of products to the extrusion process.
Ensure that material is delivered to production lines in a timely matter and staged in proper areas.
Rotate materials needed in all production areas by setting up each area with the appropriate materials need per shift and removing unneeded materials to proper storage location
Maintaining inventory organization (FIFO) on all raw materials, semi-finished and packaging materials
Help process cycle counts as needed
Create roll tickets with identification numbers on all received films and transfer films to designated staging area
Provide samples of designated incoming films for lab approval
Transfer approved films from staging area to designated warehouse storage locations
Prepare rejected film rolls for return to vendor
Empty Flex-light dumpsters from all production areas and general house keeping
Before shift is complete, be sure that the next shift has approximately 2 hours of production set up
Make sure all material movements are done in SAP with hand held device
Straightening and organizing stock for more efficient use of space and keeping work area clean and neat.
Other duties as assigned by Production shift supervisor or Scheduler
Assignments by Production shift supervisor and reporting to Production Scheduler
High School Diploma/GED
Skilled at operating forklifts, scales, SAP hand held device and all other equipment for position
Licensed Fork Truck Operator
Must know how to handle hazardous chemicals and hazardous waste properly
Must be able to read and understand work area instructions, work in a team environment and be able to multi-task
Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
Computer experience. (SAP and Lotus used and preferred experience)
Must be able to work overtime when required (including weekends) and flexible work schedules
