  1. Perform all OIT duties with these four priorities in mind: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Service

  2. Attend training and practice machine operating skills listed on the machine certification form

  3. Ensure all guards and safety devices are present and working correctly on assigned machine

  4. Report unsafe conditions to your supervisor

  5. Monitor the quality of the product at the machine entrance and exit

  6. Perform quality inspections and complete the DIR accurately

  7. Run assigned equipment, which includes but is not limited to:

a. Starting

b. Stopping

c. Clearing product and material jam

  1. Maintaining material supply

  2. Cleaning machine and area

  3. Assist with machine changeover

  4. Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks

  5. Record equipment downtime

  6. Call in work orders when appropriate

  7. Perform assigned C.A.R.E. duties

  8. Maintain acceptable C.A.R.E. audit scores in assigned zone

  9. Assist other team members on the line, as needed

  10. Notify the supervisor when machine operating skills are mastered and you are ready for machine certification

  11. All other duties as assigned


  1. Meet or exceed Quality, Safety, and Productivity goals set for the line centers

  2. Timely and accurate completion of production batch records

  3. Effective verbal and written communication with supporting departments to adhere to the production schedule


High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

• Must pass required testing

• Good attendance record

• Willingness to learn new skills

• Good safety record

Previous manufacturing experience preferred

• Have and maintain good attendance record

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Repetitive bending

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs

• Ability to understand various written materials such as SOPs and cGMPs.
