This position will use Lean Sigma, project management, and change management methodologies to support the successful execution of process improvement and other core services projects across the Shared Services Organization. This role will require innovation and an ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. As a member of the team, you will be working to coordinate and deliver services related to governance, project management and program management tools, and contributing to the support of the cloud-based portfolio tool. Responsibilities: -Lean Sigma: Support and coordinate process improvement projects in multiple functions of HR Operations Compliance. Work with Project Managers to drive projects to successful completion using Lean Sigma, project management, and change management skills and tools. -Portfolio tool configuration: Gather business requirements, then configure and develop Microsoft Excel-like formulas within the cloud-based tool. -Assist with project documentation and tracking, including process mapping, root cause analysis and task monitoring. -Work with Lean Sigma methodology and tools -Project management: Partner with a Project Manager to participate in project initiation, tracking, reporting and day to day execution; help with project coordination throughout the project lifecycle -Manage assigned projects through use of project management best practices to ensure customer, time, quality, and cost requirements are met -Assist in managing overall project plans that integrate key activities of functions associated with project lifecycle and maintain overall project documentation; help drive task completion -Participate in and assist with cross functional process improvement initiatives and the global exploration of new avenues for improving business process cycle times, lead times and the overall quality of output/service to internal and external customers -Through collaboration with project teams and the project manager, identify project risks, including probability and impact, and develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize risk impact throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications: -Competent in coordinating and supporting cross-functional projects; highly organized, maintains rigor of process, and holds task owners accountable -Excellent listening skills and an ability to translate spoken discussion into process flows and other documentation -Excellent written communication; competent in public speaking and giving status updates and at cross-functional and cross-site meetings, including virtual sessions -Lean mentality; ability to discern and document important facts simply and concisely -Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment -Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment -Proven problem solving, decision-making and issue resolution skills -Working knowledge in the application of problem-solving / root-cause analysis methodologies; working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies; ability to assist in the facilitation of Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping events -Skilled in Microsoft Excel, including writing complex formulas Education: -BA/BS degree -4 years of Project Management or project support experience
