International Testing & Validation

The International Testing & Validation (T&V) function provides regulatory compliance and operational risk oversight through the execution of standardized testing across those disciplines. This newly consolidated function will be designed to provide independent assurance that risk programs and controls are operating effectively across the following key risk types: Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Risk; and risk programs such as Business Process Risk Management, Information Security, Information Risk, Third Party, Process/Transaction, Conduct, Change Management, Product/Service and Human Capital.

As the Scheduling & Reporting Manager within the International Testing & Validation team, you will be responsible for developing a consolidated annual risk-based test plan and provide assurance of the completeness and adequacy of risk-based review activities internationally. In addition, this role will be responsible for creating and maintaining monthly and quarterly management reporting which will be provided to the Head of International Testing & Validation, Regional Risk Executives, Regional Presidents, Wells Fargo Audit Services, and other stakeholders.

Specific duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Compiling and maintaining the T&V activities inventory and coordinating and overseeing the development of a risk-based review activity plan that ensures comprehensive coverage of risks and controls internationally

  • Maintaining an understanding of the RCRM, Operational Risk Framework, and T&V Standards and the interconnectivity of its key components

  • Ownership of consolidated scheduling processes designed to promote consistency across testing teams for control testing (compliance and business process risk management), targeted reviews, and issue validation

  • Assist with development of testing related reporting dashboards and coordination with data source owners and other reporting SMEs

  • Management reporting of all International T&V activities, including monitoring completion and changes to the review activities plan, trend analysis, monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators

  • Preparing presentations that clearly articulate the results, themes, conclusions of review activities

  • May manage 2-3 compliance consultants

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 8+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 4+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

  • 3+ years of management experience

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
