Job Summary: Under general directions from the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), manages a team and provides technical expertise in the areas of security operations. Responsible for design and implementation of security architecture, monitoring the systems to track and review events, implement security protocols, creation of incident response plans, vulnerability scanning, conducting security evaluations and supervising security team members. Assists in tactical related FISMA, PCI, NIST, HIPAA and Certification & Accreditation activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leads company threat intelligence, insider threat, cyber hunt, vulnerability management and forensics initiatives Develops and manages procedural controls to ensure compliance with all appropriate internal and external security standards Assists with the eDiscovery process to ensure preservation, collection and delivery of all facets of electronically stored information requested for litigation, regulatory, or audit requests Documents and facilitates enterprise security architecture, security processes and procedure development for the company Participates in the construction and implementation of enterprise and information security plans for developing systems, new products and new technologies Ensures ongoing compliance requirements are completed (e.g., FISMA, NIST, PCI) Consults with project teams on enterprise and information security and available options Evaluates requirements, plans and implements enterprise security projects to satisfy client enterprise and information security requirements or improve/automate Enterprise and Information Security processes Leads in security awareness initiatives Leads enterprise security lifecycle management initiatives Provides supervisory functions, guides, coaches, and manages staff, performs performance evaluations Complies with all ECMC Group Policies Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience 10+ years of design/implementation of Information Security and Network Security solutions 3-5 years of leadership and/or management experience Expert knowledge with one or more major security vendors Works on large, extremely complex problems, projects, programs and/or strategic initiatives involving multiple disciplines within and outside of the function where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of multiple complex and unprecedented intangible factors Must be able to determine strategic impacts and/or develop state-of-the-art Information Security solutions with highly creative, innovative and multifaceted and integrated approaches Regularly sought out for advice, direction and strategic input and works on unique and compelling issues that impact the business strategy Preferred At least one of the following certifications: CCNP Security CCSP CCIE CISSP CEH GSEC SSCP0 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES Exercises extensive independent judgment in developing methods, and techniques to obtain results. Heavily influences decisions and has responsibility for large economic justifications and/or decisions which impact the organization, regarding Information Security Operations.
