ESCO INC Operations Coordinator in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: ESCO is seeking an operations coordinator to oversee our manufacturing operations. The operations coordinator is responsible for scheduling, production and coordinating activities between manufacturing and sales/customer operations. Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day manufacturing operations Create production schedules ensuring all customer dates are met Assign workers to various manufacturing activities Hire and assist in training new employees Continually look for ways to increase production and eliminate or reduce wasted steps and unnecessary costs Monitor equipment and employee safety Maintain quality control Ensure policies and procedures are followed Coordinate with office admin, purchasing, production workers, department heads, accounting and management to ensure everything is running smoothly Develop systems and processes to track and optimize productivity, standards and metrics to ensure effective return on assets Address employee concerns Maintain necessary administrative records ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Job Qualifications: Proven work experience in production operations, managerial experience a plus Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management/Operations not required but preferred Preferred experience with 5s and Lean Manufacturing Computer literacy (especially Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel and other related tools) Ability to create accountability and lead by example Interpersonal skills - excellent communication Leadership skills - motivate and inspire those around you to work at the highest level, develop team building Problem solving skills - quickly assess and make decisive decisions to solve any problems that may arise Time management skills - meet production deadlines, evaluate priority of tasks, Organizational skills - organizing, planning, scheduling, coordinating resources ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: alyssa.braatz@escoinc.com
