JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position manages all functions related to running the athletics department. This position will manage the office, and be the first point of contact for Marquette Athletics. This position will order supplies, and keep the facilities organized and aesthetically pleasing. This position oversees and coordinates the hiring and managing of all student office workers, including all work study employees. This position will help coordinate athletic special events and projects, at times in conjunction with University Special Events. This position may require time during evenings and weekends for special events. This position will support senior staff teammates on key initiatives. 1. Office management 2. Special Events 3. M Club Coordinator for meetings and events 4. Assist Senior Staff 5. Phone contact 6. Assist with donor events 7. Assist with operations for volleyball staff 8. Employee cell phone program 9. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. AA/EOE ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma is required. At least two years of relevant administrative, project management, event planning or customer service experience. Ability to handle confidentiality and responsibility as well as someone who has worked in a professional setting - resulting in the ability to portray confidence and professionalism. Proficient with the phone and computers, and have strong customer service skills with the ability to problem solve. Must work efficiently in a team-oriented setting and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize their workload. Ability to multi-task with very high attention to detail Skills with Razor's Edge, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and NCAA software Work in a fast-paced environment. May require on campus travel.
