PMI is currently hiring a Hydro Vac Truck Operator.
Supervises field Roustabout personnel Provides guidance for problems encountered, plans for proper tool applications, provides technical support to field Roustabout personnel, and assures proficiency of field operations. Potential candidate needs to have good communication skills to report field operations with Operations Manager and Customer Representatives on a daily basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety and Security: Observes all safety and security procedures at all times. Reports any unsafe procedures to supervisors and always uses materials and equipment for its designated purpose
Works closely with the Operations Manager to plan, establish and maintain product and service quality objectives for the district, consistent with the customer, corporate goals and objectives
Maintains a close working relationship with all levels of the District work force to ensure that a system of open communication exists
Demonstrates behavior that is professional, ethical, and responsible serving as a role model for all district personnel
Assists the Operations Managers in providing supervision and evaluation of the job performance for all district personnel through job performance reviews
Assists the Operations Managers in counseling and discipline of employees when necessary
Assists the Operations Managers in ensuring that all personnel assigned to the District are trained as per government, SES and Customer requirements
Ensures that the District is in compliance with and current with all PMI, Customer and regulatory agencies' rules, regulations, policies and procedures (i.e., quality, safety, environmental, personnel, training, etc.)
Verifying that all pre-job planning and paper work is complete and that any issues pertaining to such have been addressed
Verifying that all inspection and testing procedures are followed prior to job
Verifying that all equipment inspection and testing documentation is filled out and current prior to sending the equipment to a Customer location
Verifying that all maintenance and general upkeep of the equipment is complete and properly recorded
Verifying the completion of all corrective actions mandated by a root cause analysis
Ensures that communication with the work force is open and two-way through the use of pre-job planning, post-job reviews and monthly safety meetings
Maintains a safe work area or job site by following Superior Energy Services' Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) and Standard Operating (SOP's) procedures manuals
Other duties as assigned
Must have a valid Class B CDL License with Tanker and Air Brake endorsement. HazMat endorsement preferred.
High School or Equivalent Required
Needs to have a minimum of three to five years related experience and/or training, preferably in the oil and gas industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience providing direction and coordination of job-site activities, summary reports, working/leading a team
