Responsibilities:

We are seeking an individual to perform tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, tank cleaning, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials across a broad range of customers. Individual may be responsible for the supervision of Field Technicians, Operators, and Drivers as directed by Management, while ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are followed and that work is performed on time and within budget. The individual will ensure Health & Safety is the number one priority by following policies, procedures, and acting in a safe manner at all times. The individual will also maintain up-to-date confined space supervisor and emergency response supervisor training. The selected candidate will perform emergency response activities with quick and immediate response when on call, as well as organize techs, delegate job responsibilities and verify all appropriate equipment is available and on-site to complete projects. The individual will make sure to have accurate completion and submission of daily worksheets and driver logs, as well as capturing all job related equipment, materials, and expense for the job. We are looking for an individual who will demonstrate leadership ability; have strong mechanical abilities; and perform other tasks as assigned. Individual will maintain a good working order and appearance of assigned Company vehicle and any other assigned equipment; and provide timely reporting of work related accidents and incidents to their supervisor.

The annual salary for this position will be anywhere between $47,000-$69,000.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. A degree in Environmental Studies is preferred, but may be substituted with requisite work experience. Two plus years of work or industry related experience is required. Individual must hold a valid Class A or Class B driver’s license with a clean driving record including no serious moving violations, must be able to obtain a TWIC Card; must be able to travel and work weekends. Confined space supervisor (CSE) and marine spill response training is preferred. In addition, the selected candidate must successfully complete a DISA background check.

Individual must successfully pass a company physical and be able to wear a respirator. Individual must also be physically able to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment. Knowledge of RCRA & DOT requirements and regulations, including waste codes, manifesting, and land disposal restrictions (LDR) is preferred. Knowledge and ability to perform excavations, with heavy equipment operation is strongly desired.
