_JOB OVERVIEW: _

This position is responsible to receive customer inquiries (telephone calls and e-transactions) on various issues, including orders, payments, and cash applications. Apply customer credit card and electronic payments. Issue call tags, credits and trace customer order shipments. Interact with Sales and Distribution Center teams regarding products and customers inquiries. Responsible to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.

_KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: _

Customer Service:

  • Receive customer inquiries (telephone calls and e-transactions) on various issues, including orders, payments, and cash applications. Issue call tags (merchandise returns), credits, and trace customer order shipments. Responsible to maintain confidential and highly sensitive information.Apply customer credit card and electronic payments. Issue refund checks to customers.

  • Interact with Sales and Distribution Center teams regarding products and customers inquiries.

  • Contact manufacturers for warranty and product information. Process order cancellations and backorder cancellations.


Switchboard Operator:

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls through a multi-line switchboard. Direct callers in a polite and courteous manner. Ensure all calls are routed to the appropriate department or person.

  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as needed.

WORK EXPERIENCE:* *

Typically 1 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

General education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training.
