JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing all forms of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance and various other tasks in a safe, professional manner employing all current acceptable practices. Must take extra precautions when working on pediatric levels by keeping tools out of reach of children.Basic knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and applications and controls, installation and repair necessary. Adept in the use of hand tools, gauges, engineering metering and measuring devices. Must be able to work from blueprints, schematics and technical manuals. Must be able to explain conditions and situations accurately.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Will work in clinic setting after hours(after 4:30) doing cleaning, maintaining air handlers, light bulbs, light maintenance. will also work on hospital setting doing floor care,preventative maintenance work in conjunction with others in Dept. Summers may be some mowing, winter some snow removal.

QUALIFICATIONS

Incumbent must maintain a valid drivers license. Incumbent is required to maintain a current boilers license as appropriate to position and location. Must have thorough knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems as well as a working knowledge of related electrical, plumbing and refrigeration systems. May require power plant operations experience as appropriate to position. Graduate of a trade school program is desirable, as well as previous job-related experience.
