Job Summary:

The Director NHMG Operations is an outpatient market level role. The Director is responsible for setting the overall direction and operational achievement of medical group delivery of quality, compassionate and culturally competent services to individuals, families, groups and communities. The director will execute on medical group initiatives, and partner with service lines around strategy and growth.

Collaborates with organizational leaders and manages interdependencies across divisions to design and provide patient care and services including development of patient care programs, establishment of standards of practice, standards of patient care, and policies and procedures. Participates with leaders from the medical staff, management, and clinical areas in planning, prioritizing, promoting, and conducting organization-wide performance assessment and improvement activities.

The scope of NHM Operations includes: All NH UVA outpatient clinics including NHMG and RPC-North

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are the minimum necessary to adequately perform this job. However, an approved equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities could be acceptable, subject to any licensure/certification/legal and/or regulatory requirements.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of five years’ progressive experience working in a leadership role.

  • Additional skills required:Must possess strong business acumen and have experience contributing as a peer to others on a leadership team. Demonstrated leadership and complex organizational management skills. Well-developed planning, marketing, organizational development, and business skills. The ability to work with physicians, staff and professionals in multiple settings and locations and to promote diversity in the workplace.
