uPurpose and Scope/u: This position ensures that materials are delivered to manufacturing in a timely manner and are binned properly to storage areas, allowing for easy retrieval and proper inventory control. u /uuGuiding Principles-Culture-Service:/uulliResponsible for driving the Litehouse culture through company guiding principles./liliAccountable for outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers./liliDevelop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration and consistent timely communication./li/ulu /uuEssential Functions and Responsibilities/u:ulliDrive safely, electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices; forklift to hitch, to push, to pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment or materials./liliReview production schedules to ensure proper amount of inventory materials on work floor, and supply manufacturing with materials, as needed./liliUse scanner to properly bin items from one area to another./liliDeliver and remove unused materials from the manufacturing areas and return them to the appropriate storage location./liliWork with the inventory team on any discrepancies or miss-binned items./liliMust follow all safety practices that meet OSHA and MIOSHA standards./liliMust properly store items meeting food handling programs, such as allergens, organics, refrigerated, and non-refrigerated conditions./liliHandle items with care and store in an organized, safe manner./liliUnload and stack materials./liliLoad and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices./liliWeek-end work required, as needed./liliOther duties may be assigned./li/ul uMinimum Qualifications Required to Perform Work:/u Education/Experience/Certifications:ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED.)/liliMust be able to obtain a Litehouse forklift driver/operator license through a training program that meets OSHA requirements./liliPreferred three to five years of work experience and have the ability to execute all functions performed by Forklift Operators./liliPreferred experience with driving sit-down and stand-up forklifts./li/ul uKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:/uulliAbility to read and write short correspondence./liliAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one small group situations or to other employees of the organization./liliAbility to compute basic mathematical calculations./liliBasic computer skills required./li/ulu /uuPhysical Demands/Work Environment/u: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
