uPurpose and Scope:/uThe Operations Supervisor partners with management to establish production and quality control standards, assists in developing budgets and cost controls and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications and delivery dates of product. This position also plans and directs production activities in the Portion Control and Packaging Depts.u /uuGuiding Principles-Culture- Service:/uulliResponsible for driving the Litehouse culture through company guiding principles/liliAccountable for outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers/liliDevelop and maintain effective relationships through collaboration and consistent timely communication/liliHelp uphold a “Team Member” environment supporting others with positive behavior/li/ulu /uuEssential Functions and Responsibilities/u:ulliCoordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment/liliEnsure personal and food safety guidelines are followed/liliEnsure quality guidelines are followed/liliFollow food safety and quality guidelines at all times/liliReview and analyze production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating or production problems/liliDevelop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality/liliInterview, hire, and train employees/liliManage safety programs including adherence to food safety guidelines and OSHA safety regulations./liliRevise production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or customer orders./liliConsult with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products/liliImplement cost control programs/liliSupervise shift Coordinators of production departments/liliSupervise non-supervisory employees/liliInspect products to verify conformance to specifications and food safety guidelines and direct setup and adjustments of machines/liliInterpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations/liliEstablish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules/liliRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product/liliSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Implement changes to solidify improvements./liliAnalyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving work problems/liliInitiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals/liliMaintain time and production records/liliConfer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments/liliAnalyze and resolve personnel and disciplinary issues with employees/liliKeep written documentation regarding all personnel and disciplinary issues/liliConduct performance evaluations for all employees a minimum of once annually/liliPerform activities of workers supervised/liliResponsibility to adhere to Food Safety policies and report food safety and quality concerns to their supervisor/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li
