and some of the industry's most advanced equipment at 10 strategically located sites across the continent.

We are looking for a highly motivated and hard working candidate that is capable of setting up and operating one or more Plasma machines. Due to the size, cost, speed, sophistication, and/or complexity of the machinery, previous hands on experience is required.

Set up and operation includes adjustment and/or replacement of expendable tooling, guides, jigs, and fixtures. The Laser machine operator positions will not require programming only operation and set up.


To qualify for consideration, an applicant must possess the following skills. Possession of these skills is a prerequisite for employment.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience involving plasma operation, the making of fixtures, set up and changeover.

  • Operator must be capable of operating other equipment as required for the fabrication of various parts.

  • Responsible for producing quality parts in the most productive manner while following safe work practices.

  • Ability to operate the following plant equipment: forklift, hand cutting torch, pendant jib, gantry and overhead cranes (also radio controlled OH).

  • Ability to use the following hand or powered hand tools: caulking gun, drill, file, gear puller, grease gun, grinder, hammer, chain & strap puller/hoist (come-along), jack, level, pliers, saw, screwdriver, thread chasers & tappers, wire crimper & stripperand wrench.

  • Ability to add, subtract and multiply whole numbers, decimals and fractions. Convert decimals to fractions and vice versa.

  • Ability to use the following measuring tools: tape measure, steel rule, square.

  • Must be able to concentrate and maintain productivity in high pressure situations.

  • Must be able to work without close supervision.

  • Machine Technology Certification preferred and/or equivalent work experience.

  • Second shift (2:30pm-11:00pm M-F)
