Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group which within our housing contracts provides hard facilities management services to tenanted and void properties on a unique partnering agreement basis for housing associations.

As part of our continued growth and success we are currently seeking a Maintenance Operative, with a Plumbing bias and with electrical knowledge to join our Social Housing team in Brockley, to work across a number of our PFI contracts in South East London and East London.

As part of the role you will be responsible for carrying out general plumbing maintenance as part of our cyclical, voids and responsive maintenance contracts across both social housing and ‘let’ units. You will also provide 'multi-trade' repairs on a reactive (call-out) basis with a particular emphasis on emergency electrical "make safe" works.

You will be provided with a company van and excellent training/development as part of this varied and genuinely diverse opportunity. Previous relevant experience in the maintenance of buildings is essential. This experience would ideally have been gained within the social housing maintenance sector.

The preferred candidate will have strong plumbing experience, ideally gained within a housing/ domestic setting and also ideally hold 17th edition electricial qualification.

You will have excellent customer service skills and be passionate about providing high quality repairs/planned maintenance.

This a mobile position and therefore the successful candidate will need a full, valid UK Driving License.
