Uses a pneumatic nail gun to repair or assemble pallets. In a repair department places pallet on repair table, removes defective boards, replaces new boards, and nails replaced boards into place. In an assembly department takes stock boards and nails together based on type of pallet desired. Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the saw.Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time. Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs. Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.Work is paid based on piece rate with production standards. Pay rate is based on a starting wage of 10.50/hr. with piece rate of pay options earning up to 16.00/hr. based on performance. A comprehensive benefits package with eligibility after 60 days of service and 401K option with company matching incentives after 90 days of service.PTO and vacation eligibility after 1 year of continuous service. Positions are M-F 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime on Saturday.
