Primary Responsibilities: Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors Impact of work is most often at the local level Provides clinical operational oversight for teams of field based assessor staff and supervisors administering Independent Assessments of beneficiaries Communicates in a culturally sensitive manner to individuals whose support needs are being assessed, including beneficiaries within the mental health, developmental disability, or adult aging populations Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team May oversee work activities of other supervisors Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities Monitors, manages and controls operational and performance metrics in conjunction with established program value target Develops solutions to address new, often complex customer requirements that address operational, clinical and customer needs Ensures audits are conducted, standards are met, successful outcome are achieved Reviews operational and performance metrics regularly and partners with direct supervisor in driving action plan development and execution Collaborates across the organization including with Medical, Site Directors, senior leaders and other stakeholders Participate in monthly meetings May be responsible for preparing, reviewing, or submitting reports and managing data metrics Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and/or customers (internal or external) Required Qualifications: RN with current unrestricted RN licensure in Arkansas, which shall be furnished to the State upon request Minimum 2 years of experience in working with the mental health, developmental disability, and/or adult aging populations Minimum 2 years of people management experience Ability to travel to appointments at Provider offices, beneficiary homes, and other community meeting locations throughout Arkansas Must be able to pass complete criminal history and Central Registry Checks Must have additional Child Maltreatment Central Registry and Adult and Long-Term Care Facility Resident Maltreatment Central Registry updated every three years and a State Criminal Background Check updated every five years Must be able to pass State background checks for all States in which lived in within the last five years Preferred Experience: Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse Experience working with Medicaid and low - income populations Ability to coach, develop and mentor a team that is field-based Careers with Optum.
