Panasonic Advertising Operations Specialist in Lake Forest, California

Job Summary:

Customer-facing individual responsible for advertising operations for world-wide array of airline accounts. Heavily involved with internal engineering teams as well airline customers and third party vendors/agencies, communicating and implementing advertising software requirements and providing ongoing campaign management support. Ensure that customer requirements for revenue driven products are captured and delivered on time. Involved with testing and integration efforts for advertising software as well as ongoing campaign management process including monitoring, optimization, reporting and eventual end or renewal of campaigns.

Major Responsibilities:

Account Management - 35%

  • Define, track and communicate implementation plans for a portfolio of GCS and IFE airline accounts. Areas of responsibility may include software management, third party integration, process improvement, and coordination of departmental or cross-functional teams focusing on delivering new or upgrading existing revenue generating products.

  • Provide end-to-end campaign management which includes setting up accounts and campaigns, monitoring and analyzing performance of campaigns through regular reporting and data analysis, lead efforts to improve ad relevancy and performance and processing change requests.

  • Provide relevant industry insights using proprietary tools and internal resources to highlight significant trends.

  • Monitor contract delivery and report progress against client goals, keeping the customer and internal teams informed.

Communication - 15%

  • Assure plan is communicated, understood, and implemented internally throughout PAC.

  • Participate and present in select meetings with airline customers and 3 rd party vendors.

Testing and Integration - 35%

  • Create test content and test cases/scenarios and participate in testing and integration efforts prior to and during Airline Test Procedures (ATP).

  • Ensure airline-specific requirements for advertising software are properly tested, implemented, and delivered on time.

Issue Identification/Resolution - 15%

  • Identify and resolve any issues which may inhibit implementation of the plan and on-time delivery of software.

  • Identify and resolve any in-service issues by working with internal groups, keeping customer and third party agencies informed.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, third party advertising agencies, and a diverse range of internal organizations via all methods of communication. Excellent written and verbal communication required, as well as ability to articulate matters clearly.

  • Proficient with mainstream PC desktop applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, VISIO). Strong Excel skills preferred.

  • Uses professional concepts; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.

  • Exercises good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

  • Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Education/Experence Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing).

  • 1-2 years project/account management in advertising industry preferred.

  • Online advertising industry background within an agency, media company or publisher preferred.

  • In-Flight Entertainment experience industry preferred.

  • Interest in technology as well as basic technical background preferred.

  • Bi-lingual preferred (Mandarin, Cantonese, Spanish, Japanese preferred).

Other Requirements:

  • May require domestic and/or international travel to customer and non-customer sites (20%).
