Responsibility for supporting and maintaining multiple user and customer-facing applications and related data processing platforms and services. Role ensures the user-facing business applications are consistently available and are highly performant meeting customer expectations. Continuously measures application performance and availability against published SLA’s and operational commitments, end to end.
Responsible for maintenance of application programs & interfaces
Coordinates with end users and architects to accomplish functionality enhancements.
Demonstrates command of multiple programming languages , basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and interfacing
Maintains peer relationships across IT areas to support effective support delivery.
Working knowledge of case and incident management tools and application uptime and case metrics.
Work in a team environment or independently when necessary and be self-directed when appropriate
Hands-on experience with more than one of the full development life cycle phases: analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning or documentation.
IT program development experience or equivalent.
Analytical, creative and business focused problem-solver.
Great team worker, willing to learn how to cooperate with others and lead initiatives.
Willingness to learn how to explain technical issues to non-technical staff.
Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience would be an asset.
Database technologies and SQL, Procedures, Functions ,Triggers, Packages
Understanding of Service Management processes
Strong oral and written communication skills
IT program development experience
Strong business analysis and problem solving skills
Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses
Basic Knowledge of ITIL processes and Service now tool
