Reference #: 1708626 The investor services dept. is responsible for the accurate processing and maintanence of partnerships registers and documentation for the funds administered. Investor Relations Administrators (IRA's) are responsible for gathering administering, and inputting data required to ensure that perspective investors meet eligibility, compliance and Anti Money Laundering guidelines during the processing of Investor Related transactions which include subscriptions, redemptions, the generation and distribution of confirmations, and statements, as well as transfers, rehypened registrations and distribution. Administrators are also responsible for assisting more senior Investor Relations Reps in reconciling trade information received with the clients expected transactions and money's received from investors. Additional responsibilities include supporting the IRRs in preparation of written and oral correspondence with the fund and investors regarding AML documentation, transactions, performance and statement reporting. Upon completion of training, and gathering of some experience adminstrators will serve as a resource for client and investor inquiries regarding less complex transaction and documentation outside of the trade processing cycle.The person must have a basic understanding of the securities servicing industry as well as transfer agency compliance regulations that can be obtained from prior experience or on the job training. Organizational knowledge will be developed as part of the on the job training program.Problems encountered in this position will be centered around missing information on documents and differences in items being reconciled. The person in this position will be expected to understand/identify that a problem exists and be able to provide the details of the problem to the team leader. The team leader will guide the person on the steps required to resolve the problem.The person in this position will have impact from a client and compliance standpoint. There will be internal impact in terms of completion of assigned tasks.External interactions will be with client and client authorized contact. Internal interactions will be directly with other team members, business units and management.
