Cerner Operations Specialist in Kansas City, Missouri
Cerner’s Operations Specialist for Facilities executes operational processes and provides organizational support and client service within a given professional domain area. In this role, you will be expected to provide a high level of service and support to both internal and external clients. The Operations Specialists is responsible for meeting and conference rooms set up, as well as ensuring that each client receives the appropriate Cerner experience through proper preparation and execution of events and communication.
Other responsibilities will include the setting/striking of rooms from a facility perspective, including, but not limited to, chairs/tables/linens/easels/podiums/staging/lighting and airwalls. Operations Specialists will set event materials and signage, manage the inventory of all event furniture/furnishings, and demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines and be able to read room diagrams and Banquet Event Orders.

- High school diploma, GED or equivalent relevant work experience
- At least 1 year of Hotel Banquet or Conference Center experience
Must reside or be willing to relocate to Kansas City
Willing to work overtime or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
