Kelly Services is currently hiring 12 Compounders (Bulk Blender) for a 6 month contract to hire position. This position is located 30 minutes outside of Charlotte in Kannapolis NC and is not offering relocation or sponsorship at this time. This position will start as a Monday- Friday 12pm(noon)-- 12am (midnight) shift. 12 hour shifts, you will have about 20 hours of over time a week. THE SHIFT WILL CHANGE to a 2- 2- 3 schedule.

These are all new positions because our client is growing rapidly. This company is very stable and you will have the option to grow with the company and move up. This position starts at $10/hr for no experience and will pay up to $17/hr. for several years of experience. APPLY TODAY!

SUMMARY

The Bulk Batcher will be responsible for producing cosmetic, drug batches and sampling raw materials on a daily basis to meet the scheduled requirements. This individual will serve as hands on personnel for weighing, batching and sampling. This position will be responsible for insuring batching; weighing and sampling areas are setup and operating to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety. Key attributes for this position are multitasking, follow-through; good mathematical skills; detail oriented; and good communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain schedule efficiency to meet production goals

  • Follow production schedule and work with warehouse to get orders pulled and staged.

  • Verify components.

  • Ability to communicate objectives to the line and report results to production management team

  • Batching/weighing/sampling materials using the metric system.

  • Handling raw materials and understanding safety procedures associated with handling raw materials.

  • Mixing chemicals per written instructions.

  • Operating large scales, small balances forklift, blenders and processing tanks.

  • Make suggestions for solutions to support daily results, improvement in safety, quality, cost, and reliability.

  • Ability to comprehend on-the-job training.

  • Perform room releases.

  • Attend Daily Operational Reviews.

  • Ability to understand deviations, non-conformances, protocols, SOPs.

  • Document activities according to CFR 21 Parts 210 and 211.

  • Understand and follow SOPs and cGMP guidelines.

  • Work effectively with a diverse “customer” group (production/batching, operators, supervisors, managers, warehousing, maintenance, quality, etc.) to understand and meet/exceed their expectations and achieve desired business results.

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3-5 year of working in a Manufacturing, FDA, GMP or DEA environment is preferred

  • Proven ability to meet production needs for successful results.

  • Ability to comprehend and abide by relevant policies/procedures pertinent to safety, quality, security, and operations.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain efficiency, quality, and safety.

  • Basic computer knowledge – word, excel, access.

  • Read, write, and speak the English language fluently.

  • Basic mathematic skills.

  • Work closely with and in-cooperation with team leads and peers.

  • This position will be accountable to meet daily goals set by the Team Leader to fulfill customer requirements.

  • Bulk Batcher will have primary accountability for maintaining schedule efficiency, quality, and safety.

  • Primary contacts of the Bulk Batcher will include Production/Batching Workers, Operators, Supervisor, Manager; Warehousing, Maintenance, and Quality.

Physical Demands : Exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects
