The CPB North America Advisory Operations Lead will be responsible for a team of 30 staff supporting the Private Bank and Citi PWM Advisory business. The advisory operations team supports 43,800 accounts and $37.2.0B aums across all lines of businesses - the implementation/overlay, billing and cash processing functions by bringing market best practices, ideas and processes into the Private Bank to help make the Private Bank experience. They will partner closely with the Private Bank Global Managed Investments leadership team, PWM product management and O&T Colleagues to deliver client focused solutions.
Manage the risk associated with a service driven, control minded advisory operations team that delivers measurable competitive advantage in support of Private Bank Global Managed Investments
Partner with Business stakeholders to understand business needs create roadmap to ensure current and future client demand is meet and exceeded
Provide management reporting to Business partners on AUMs, positions and performance of managed account provider.
Coordination with custodians on behalf of Business partners to solve inquires or escalate and resolve issues
Daily overlay / implementation management for all UMA programs Citi offers - encompassing portfolio rebalancing, client contributions and redemptions, and ensuring that accounts track within asset allocation expectations
Review and analysis of end to end processes and demonstrable ability to deploy industry best practices and process reengineering to meet business needs
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and cultivating a robust service and control environment
Represent Advisory Operations at various internal committees, audits and forums related to the managed account end to end process
Demonstrated track record supporting managed accounts
Pershing NetX and APL experience is preferred however not required
Familiarity with regulatory environment
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to synthesize and articulate complex issues and concepts
The successful candidate must 5+ years of experience within asset management or wealth management operations.
Knowledge of the investment industry and managed accounts
Previous experience managing a team
- Series 99 or series 7 an advantageExcellent written, verbal communication, time management and prioritization skills
Ability to partner across organizational lines
Highly effective influencing, relationship management and collaboration skills
