Job Background/Context:

Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) provides HR shared services covering Recruitment & On-boarding, Employee Life-Cycle, Off-boarding, Payroll, Compensation Administration and Service Delivery as well as HR systems support. In partnership with HR, HRSS strives to provide excellent customer service through its product offering to employees and managers whilst focusing on process re-engineering and initiatives to enhance the Shared Services role in Citi.

Job Purpose:

The job holder has tactical execution and accountability for HR Shared Services (HRSS) Indonesia Compensation & Benefits of Citi Shared Services (CSS). Areas of responsibility include operations, risk and control, service delivery management (customer and stakeholder engagement).

The Compensation & Benefits Team Lead’s primary role is the provision of accurate and timely processing of the Compensation & Benefits processes to Citi employees. This role reports to the APAC HRSS Compensation & Benefits Head.

Key Responsibilities:

High Level Responsibilities:

The Compensation & Benefits Team Lead role should have minimum 3 years of work experience. This role should have an in-depth knowledge of the different policies, processes, tools and systems to support Compensation & Benefits Operations and should have a strong customer focus. The Compensation & Benefits Team Lead has responsibility for the overall day-to-day operation. The Compensation & Benefits Team Lead is responsible for tracking performance, control/monitoring and identifying work process defect elimination projects. The Compensation & Benefits Team Lead meets the job requirements of this role by meeting Service Level Agreements and delivering productivity and process improvements.

Responsibilities Composition:

  • 55% Production Activity (e.g. Problem Solving, Meetings, Risk/Control)

  • 10% Customer Activity (e.g. Senior Management)

  • 5% Re-Engineering (with participation in execution)

  • 25% Supervisory (e.g. Capacity monitoring, etc.)

  • 5% People Relationship (e.g. Coaching, Performance Appraisal, Motivation, etc.)

  • Has a strong knowledge in Compensation & Benefits processes such as Medical Insurance, statutory benefits, etc. The Compensation & Benefits Team Lead should have in-depth understanding of Compensation & Benefits objective, principles, guidelines, policies, procedures, and country or regional specifics

  • People Management and Leadership Skills – able to effectively lead a team to achieve common goals, with passion for quality, and ownership in accomplishing challenging tasks

  • Project Management skills for process change requests, integrations, request for service, etc.

  • Proficient in MS Applications (Word, Power Point, Excel)

  • Working knowledge of HR systems including payroll, Compensation & Benefits systems highly desirable

  • Fluent in English in both written and verbal communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Able to handle high volume of work and adaptable to change

  • Able to plan and manage own time, works with minimal supervision

  • Able to rapidly learn technical and business techniques and knowledge

  • Mature and with strong attention to detail
