The Role: Godwin, a Xylem brand, seeks an Operations Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day coordination of a Dewatering branch in Jacksonville, FL. Godwin offers full-service dewatering capabilities including pump sales, rental, and on-site service to transport water and wastewater to customers worldwide. The company has a reputation for providing the very best customer service and support in the industry. The Coordinator will assist in managing the driver dispatch log, yard organization, fusion technician routing, and inventory controls, all to ensure the branch is meeting its demanding customer base.
Responsible for the efficient and effective location and transportation of equipment. Handle all off-rents.
Monitor cancellations or changes of equipment relocation. Handle all transfer paperwork and maintain log.
Performs record keeping on all jobsite location maps and directions
Schedules delivery vehicles for servicing and inspection.
Maintains monthly mileage and fuel logs for all vehicles.
Oversees the loading and unloading of all equipment and materials
Maintain all driver logs and filing on a daily basis.
Assist in answering phones.
Ensure completion of all daily work activity. Coordinate the overall delivery of quality service by mechanics and service associates
Ensure that machinery is set up correctly, scheduling or performing repairs and maintenance as required.
Maximize fleet availability, ensure maximum shop productivity.
Generate incremental service revenues. Check equipment in yard for major repairs and preventative maintenance, and ensure that rental equipment is set up correctly.
Assist in inside rental and sale inquiries
Knowledge of diesel engines and pumping equipment
Knowledge of plumbing and piping helpful
Familiarity with construction or industrial environments preferred
Prior experience with vehicle or equipment dispatching helpful
Prior management experience
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain focused and organized.
Ability to effectively delegate responsibility and supervise work activities of others.
Ability to support rotating on-call for emergency response
