Today, we are proud to offer a long term contract opportunity for a Manufacturing Operations Engineering Laboratory Technician to work with our client, a leader in the Medical Device industry, located in Jacksonville, FL.

The Laboratory Support Technician will apply fundamental technical skills to assist engineers in the planning, design and execution of experiments using various types of manual and automated processes equipment.


  • Prepare, maintain and clean equipment lens optical and geometric parameter measurements

  • Assist in the preparation of equipment specifications, HECP, SOP, JSA, calibration and maintenance procedures

  • Interface with the project team and other departments of the organization to communicate experimental data and status of process and equipment issues

  • Adhere to all GMP/GLP

  • Maintains accurate documentation in compliance with company SOPs


  • Minimum High School Diploma; preferred certification from a technical school in Engineering, Electronics or Mechanics or an Associate’s degree in Engineering or Science

  • 1-2 years of experience working with robotics and lasers such as laser welders, laser etchers and tray load robots preferred

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in equipment operation, assembly and cleaning required

  • Strong communication, organizational and application of principles, concepts and practices of protocol execution

  • Experience working within a regulated environment: standard operation procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or FDA

  • Experience working in a production engineering environment or Engineering R&D laboratory environment preferred
