CVS Health Reporting Consultant - Client Operations in Irving, Texas

The Reporting Consultant - Client Operations partners with the internal business partners. Together, you provide analysis, develop reporting for existing and new clients, maintain existing client reports each plan year to help manage and retain client business. Many of the deliverables are time sensitive in nature, due to mandated delivery dates or internal turnaround times. Reports assigned can be from internal or external sources. All reporting processes will be developed in alignment with current business rules, be operationally supportable, be repeatable, and fully documented.
Other responsibilities include:
Completing assigned tasks for larger scale projects and taking direction from a designated lead.
Maintaining current knowledge of Rx Claim data files, their structures, and associated tables.
Ensuring adherence to CMS guidelines and regulations when applicable and following Policies and Procedures.
Keeping management informed as to request status and potential issues that could prevent on-time delivery of assignments. 5% - 10% travel may be required.
At least 3 years experience in:
A healthcare environment (medical or pharmacy)
Defining, developing, and testing reports using SQL, Visual Basic, or similar query language
Performing quality assurance on all reports to ensure data integrity and consistency.
Handled care experience such as PBM, health insurance, or healthcare.
1+ years of prior experience with IBM AS/400 Query, Rx CLAIM, Aetna Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and Commercial business experience.
Possess a full understanding of MS Office products including Word, Excel, and Access.
Ability to multitask and prioritize within a high-energy environment.
Attention to detail; strong drive to ensure the integrity of underlying data & reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
