As a member of the marketing operations team, the Marketing Operations Specialist will partner with internal stakeholders to execute digital and direct marketing programs using Marketo to support and promote the objectives of US Pharmaceutical Distribution. In addition, manage the lead qualification process and facilitate marketing to sales hand off of qualified leads within the agreed upon SLA
The candidate must possess solid communications skills, an understanding of integrated digital marketing campaigns, and strong project management skills. The Marketing Operations Specialist will also be responsible for continually optimizing email marketing programs for improved performance.
This position will function in a highly-matrixed organization. As such it will require expertise in collaboration on cross-functional teams and the ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner, often in sensitive situations requiring high attention to detail.
Support the distribution of customer and prospect communications through the creation, testing, execution and tracking of demand generation and operations-focused digital and direct marketing campaigns in Marketo and Salesforce
Execute Marketo activities including campaigns, programs, drip & nurture programs and customer communications
Provide exemplary service to internal customers such as inside sales, sales, marketing communications and program managers as needed
Optimize lead distribution methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to sales for qualification and for increasing efficiencies and conversion rates
Track and report on lead dispositioning process
Ensure processes and best practices are in place to maintain the integrity of the campaign development and lead dispositioning process
Other duties as assigned in support of the Marketing Operations team
5 years experience in marketing
Required Business Experience-
Experience in Marketo or similar marketing automation platform.
Solid communications skills, written and verbal
Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced marketing environment, constantly striving for excellence
Ability to work with a variety of internal/external stakeholders, varying in seniority and work experience
Basic HTML knowledge, familiarity with WSYWIG HTML editors
4-year degree in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
