Position Description

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Data Quality, US Pharma Marketing, and will be responsible for ensuring data quality and administration across the Marketing organization in support of marketing campaigns, segmentation and targeting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and audit standard recurring campaign lists in Marketo, MailChimp and salesforce.com

  • Responsible for accurate execution of ad-hoc list requests for all digital and offline channels in a timely manner

  • Create custom database queries and provide actionable answers

  • Maintain data quality including developing automated checks for common data issues and importing offline data

  • Manage all business exclusions and opt out compliance information

  • Develop and set up tracking codes for all digital and offline marketing campaigns

  • Manage and monitor appropriate use of lists

  • Create reports/dashboards on database size, deliverability, email address availability and segmented by segments/roles

Minimum Requirements

5 years experience in market research

Critical Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, as well as a minimum of 2 - 4 years of Database Marketing operational experience

  • Strong technical skills with Excel for data manipulation, mapping, profiling, and analysis.

  • Prior experience with list management, data cleansing and hygiene

  • Familiarity with relational databases, marketing automation (Marketo) and/or Customer Relationship Management (salesforce.com) processes and platforms is preferred

  • Ability to extract business needs from non-technical requestors

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Ability to function in a highly-matrixed organization including expertise in collaboration on cross-functional teams and the ability to make informed decisions in a timely manner, often in sensitive situations requiring high attention to detail.

  • Ability to collaborate across teams, functions, and organization levels – including understanding of sales funnel and cycle

  • Familiarity with Workfront and/or other project management tool is helpful

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Excellent writing skills; thorough knowledge of company products; technical background, and analytical skills

Education

MBA preferred in Marketing, Business or related field or equivalent experience
