CVS Health Enrollment Operations Project Manager in Irving, Texas

Position Summary:

The Enrollment Project Manager fully owns their assigned projects and outcomes from initiation to completion, and has a great deal of autonomy and authority to drive changes throughout the organization. Responsibilities will include medium to large scale projects of a technical, reporting or process nature within Enrollment Operations such as: implementing new CMS guidance, changes to existing business processes, client requests, issue resolution or support of technical infrastructure changes, etc. The project portfolio will consist of projects of varying sizes and complexity, and new projects are added as often as daily. The Project Manager is solely responsible for defining requirements for cross functional requests and leading the development and implementation effort from initiation to completion. The Advisor will be expected to partner with Account Management and Sales in the implementation of client requirements to ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant enrollment, maintenance, and dis-enrollment of the client’s beneficiaries. The Advisor is expected to be a Subject Matter Expert of the business, acquiring and leverage knowledge as needed to complete assignments. As Medicare Part D Enrollment is highly regulated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), there is a great deal of emphasis placed upon compliance. The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that all CVS|Caremark processes and systems: 1) get or keep CVS/Caremark in compliance with all CMS regulations 2) can be operationally supported 3) are documented via work instructions, policies, procedures or other documentation. The Advisor will be responsible for communicating status of projects to senior management, and for working with internal partners to ensure milestone dates are met. The Project Manager will be responsible for working with internal partners to assess risks if project deliverables cannot be met within requested time frames, present recommendations and to arrive at an agreeable contingency plan. The Project Manager will be responsible for completing data analysis to determine root cause of any assigned issues, presenting their findings and recommendations to CVS/Caremark senior management for procedure and/or system changes and for any corrective actions needed. The Project Manager is then responsible for ensuring that any needed changes are implemented, and that they meet the desired outcomes. Where needed, the Project Manager will submit system work requests and will provide input into system requirements documents. The Project Advisor will provide sign off approval on system documents associated to their projects, including requirements documents, test plans, test results, and change requests. The Project Manager will partner closely with Information Systems to coordinate system changes, including providing input into the prioritization and scheduling of IT work as needed in support of enrollment projects. As necessary, the Project Manager may be required to prepare or assist in the preparation of documentation to request capital or other resources. Many of the deliverables of this role are time sensitive in nature, due to CMS mandated delivery dates and/or internal turnaround times that must be met.

Required Qualifications:

*2 or more years in a client facing role managing client deliverables, requirements and expectations.

*At least three years’ experience in successful business and system process definition and implementation.

*Candidate must have prior experience with creation of policies, procedures or work instructions.

*Intermediate proficiency with ALL MSOffice software (Project, Access, Visio, Word and Excel)required.

*Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Prior experience with Medicare Part D or other government programs, PBM, or enrollment strongly preferred but not required.

*Six Sigma training and/or certification preferred.

*1 or more years experience with EDI file layouts and file transfer protocols preferred.

*PMP designation preferred but not required.

Education:

*Bachelor degree. Will consider a combination of education and years of relevant work experience.
