CVS Health Clinical Client Operations Manager in Irving, Texas

Position Summary:

The Aetna GMF Manager position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Aetna GMF team. The leader is responsible for the accurate set up of formulary and drug lists in RxCLAIM, meeting the client intent based on the request and documentation provided. The Manager collaborates with the Benefits Leadership, Account Managers and BRM’s. Responsibilities of the Manager include, but are

not limited to,

  • Manages professional employees growth and development

  • Oversees the maintenance of Aetna Formulary and drug lists in adjudication system

  • Leads the team to identify and resolve challenges by analyzing information and determining the appropriate solutions

Manage and develop a team dedicated to supporting Aetna GMF drug lists and formulary including complex data, identifying root causes and assisting with driving to practical and creative solutions. Monitor Turn around Times and PG data Foster teamwork and a supportive departmental culture with an emphasis on ensuring exceptional client service.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership within a clinical, healthcare operations, or similar industry.

  • 5+ years of client relationship management experience with external and internal clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • RxClaims Experience


Bachelor's degree is required; equivalent work experience may substitute.
